Remember  many urgent tasks are very often not important, important tasks are those that take you towards your long term goals

The following survey shows the amount of time you spend on various activities in your life. When taking the survey, estimate the amount of time spent on each item. Once you have this amount, multiply it by seven if necessary (this will give you the total time spent on the activity in one week). After each item's weekly time has been calculated, add all these times for the grand total. Subtract this from 168, the total possible hours per week. Here We Go:

1. No. hours asleep each night (x7)

2. No. hours grooming each day (x7)

3. No. hours eating each day (include preparation) (x7)

4. Total travel time weekdays

5. Total travel time weekends

6. No. hours per week for scheduled activities e.g. club, church

7. No hours per week for DIY or Chores

8. No. hours at work per week

9. Average hours per week socialising etc

10. Average hours per week of any other activity not covered

The remaining hours are what you have spare to be used on any activities.
