Iaido Classes (Posted: 3/4/2008)
We have had some considerable interest from students in the art of Japanese Sword, namely the art of drawing the sword – Iaido. In response to this we will be starting sessions on the 4th of June 2007 at Meadows School from 7 – 8.30 pm and then once a month on the first Monday of every month. If there is sufficient demand then this will be extended.
Sessions will be taken by Sensei Dave Waters who has many years of iaido experience.
The sessions are open to all students. The fee will be £4 juniors and £6 seniors per session. This fee is on a “pay as you go” basis for those students who are paying by Standing Order at their main club. If you do not have a sword then please bring a wooden bokken along.
